Dexys Bootleg Runners + Rudie and the Revolvers
***VENUE CHANGE*** PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SHOW HAS MOVED TO THE RAINBOW.
The world’s only Dexy’s Midnight Runners tribute band. This is not a couple of guys with midi files. This is a full blown, 12-piece HUGE sound, faithfully re-creating the halcyon days of all incarnations of Kevin Rowlands imagination. This baby has all the correct instrumentation and voicing, including a 3 piece horn section, banjo, accordion, organ, piano, guitar, bass, fiddle, viola, and drums.
Once seen never forgotten, and a fistful of classic songs such as ‘Geno’, ‘There There My Dear’, ‘Breakin’ Down The Walls of Heartache’, that will take you back to the days when you were Searching For the Young Soul Rebels. Not forgetting the dungaree clad classics of ‘Too Rye-Ay’, including the timeless ‘Come On Eileen’!!! Now for the caper…

In early 2011 Long term nucleus of the band - Paul Hare - Keyboards,Sean Williams - Sax & Tony B – Drums were joined by Warren Chapman on bass , and by mid 2011 the band had been swelled by the wonderful soaring vocals of Ms. Judy Buckley. To complete the final piece of the jigsaw, the previous singer was replaced in June 2012 by the gragerious Mr Jason Ensa, who also can double on trumbone and trumpet.
