“There’s a special place I know for motherfuckers like you/ There’s a special place I know for all the shit you’ve done.” So begins Cancer Bats’ fourth album, and if there ever was a better warning for people of a sensitive disposition to switch off RIGHT NOW, we’re yet to hear it. ‘Dead Set On Living’ also explores such lyrical subjects as being the offspring of a particularly nasty nuclear winter, but does so to a cauldron of riffs and deathly roars stolen straight from the depths of Hell so pant-wettingly exciting, that it’s impossible to do anything but scream along.
