Scratching and tugging with prickly precision, ‘Featherbrain’ proves unnervingly jagged, ‘The Devil’ caws in a twisted tUnE-yArDs timbre, whilst ‘You Gonna’’s pounding pots’n’pans stomp like Diane Cluck covering M.I.A.. Both bewitching and berserk, ‘Featherbrain’ keeps its creator comfortably in the shadows.
