The latest to emerge from the overly fertile musical breeding grounds of Birmingham, Bombers offer something different to their peers on their forthcoming single ‘Drawing‘. Jerking and writhing, its underpinned by a crazed, frenzied sense of urgency as frontman David Duell intones “I can tell I’m going wrong”, each syllable growing more and more ominous than the last. A short, sharp shock of dark, foreboding post-punk, it’s something refreshingly different from the city of the moment.
