Coco And The Butterfields Win Live & Unsigned
Coco And The Butterfields have won this year’s Live & Unsigned competition.
The band, from Canterbury in Kent, won £10,000 prize money and the right to play at 18 different European festivals this summer.
They were presented with the prize by Radio One DJ, and Live & Unsigned judge, Ras Kwame in London last Saturday.
Coco And The Butterfields triumphed with a genre they describe as ‘Fip Fok’ (a combination of Hip-Hop, Folk and Pop) and beat off competition from 40,000 other musicians to win the accolade.
