The Invisible Frontman Hospitalised

Dave Okumu, frontman with London band The Invisible, has narrowly escaped death whilst performing in Nigeria.

Okumu (far right, above) was electrocuted on stage in Lagos and is now recovering in hospital.

The band have posted the following statement on their Twitter and Facebook pages:

“Dave has survived a life threatening electrocution whilst performing in Lagos, and is presently recovering in hospital. The band have cancelled all forthcoming engagements, and would like to thank everyone for their support and kind wishes…”

The cancelled dates include the band’s forthcoming London show at Camden Barfly.
