Aiden Grimshaw No Longer “Feels Like X Factor Aiden”

Aiden Grimshaw admitted that he “doesn’t feel like X Factor Aiden anymore” in an exclusive interview with The Fly at The Great Escape Festival.

Speaking to us before his performance on Saturday evening, the former X Factor contestant said: “I don’t feel like X Factor Aiden anymore, I feel like some dude who’s had a bit of money, spent it all, got pissed a lot and wrote an honest album.”

The singer, who releases debut single ‘Is This Love’ in June, also said he is rarely recognised, “The quiff came down and famousness left the building.”  But almost as soon as he’d finished his sentence, a woman and her daughter approached asking for an autograph.

Grimshaw showed us his “sweat rag,” a bandana he uses when he gets nervous before a show, described his latest tattoo, revealed his aspirations as a pop star and reminisced about “big dog” Simon Cowell and fellow X Factor contestants Wagner, Matt Cardle and One Direction.
