Nine Black Alps
Nine Black Alps are to return in 2012 with an October UK tour and their fourth studio album ‘Sirens’ set for release on 8th October through Leeds label Brew Records (Kong, Hawk Eyes, Blacklisters, Castrovalva, Humanfly).??With core members Sam Forrest(vocals, guitar), David Jones (guitar), James Galley (drums, vocals) and new bass player Karl Astbury, the band have retained their distinctive and energetic sludge-rock sound albeit with a tighter and more dynamic style.??The band were formed in 2003 in Manchester, UK and were quickly signed by Island Records after just a handful of local shows and an almighty scramble amongst the music industry.
Nine Black Alps play The Borderline on 15th October. Supporting will be Castrovalva and Buffalo Ink.
