Guitarist Larry Miller is famous for his exciting, mesmerising guitar playing and rip roaring shows in the UK and around Europe. He is one of the most popular blues/rock acts on the live scene in the UK, bringing his unique showmanship and energy to every performance. Larry holds the record for the most encores at The Cambridge Rock Festival, returning the following two years to capacity crowds and standing ovations. In 2011 he appeared on the International Stage at The Great British R & B Festival with what was purported to have been the biggest crowd of the weekend. The performance was recorded and broadcast on BBC Radio 2.

Already this year, Larry Miller’s popularity is increasing further with another huge crowd at Skegness Rock and Blues Festival and ever increasing audiences at arts centres, theatres and music venues. He is booked to play major festivals in 2012 including two days at The Rory Gallagher International Festival in Ireland.

• “The new Gary Moore…” – Radio Caroline
• “Why Isn’t He A Superstar?” Classic Rock
• “Larry Miller is an exploding ball of heavy blues energy. He’s a showman, an exceptional guitar player and has the songs and band to go with it.” – Joe Bonamassa
• “The best in yer face Rock band around.” – The Guardian
• “As the natural successor to Rory Gallagher and Alvin Lee, Miller with the right backing looks set to commute his way to fortune with ease.” – International Encyclopedia of Hard Rock
• “Berry invented it, Jagger modified it, Nugent abused it… and Miller looks set to once again re-define the whole damn package!” – Kerrang
It’s 2012. It’s the third time around, and Cherry Lee Mewis means business. The 5ft-nothing, power-house singer songwriter has grabbed the musical bull by the horns, and together with her smokin’ hot band including long time collaborator and guitarist Max Milligan, has produced an exquisite and exciting self-penned third studio album; the aptly titled Heard It Here First. An 11-track-breath-of-fresh-air in a somewhat predictable British Blues music scene.

Cherry Lee Mewis on stage at 7.45pm;  Larry Miller Band on stage at 9.00pm.

Age restrictions - shows are 14+, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, proof of age upon request regardless of advance ticket purchase.
