The Robbie Boyd Band are a feel-good ‘funky folk’ ensemble from London. Their debut single ‘I Won’t Let You Go’ has had strong support from radio, most notably from Graham Norton at BBC Radio 2, and Tom Robinson at BBC 6 Music. The band have shared the stage with The Kooks at Harvest at Jimmy’s Festival, The Delays at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and most recently played a headline gig at Trafalgar Square. Youtube hits stand at more than 380,000 and they have over 7,500 Facebook fans. Robbie’s charming songwriting and distinctive vocals combine with colourful arrangements and nostalgic harmonies, provided by an eclectic mix of talented musicians, to produce an exciting and uplifting contemporary folk-pop sound.
