A great eccentric English band – veterans of the very first Glastonbury Festival who have been thrilling die hard fans and winning new audiences since their Glorious Reformation. Stackridge bring new material and a back catalogue that includes the acclaimed ‘Man In The Bowler Hat’ album produced by George Martin. The voices and songwriting of Andy Davis and James Warrren found pop chart dame as The Korgis with ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’. They’re the godfathers of that very English psychedelic, pastoral pop that XTC, Tears For Fears and even Queen drew upon.
Special guest is Robert Vincent, the searingly honest Liverpool singer-songwriter whose mix of folk, rock and country plays like a Mersey Van Morrison or a Scouse Springsteen. Heavily tipped for great things.
